The Children, Youth, and Families At-Risk (CYFAR) Professional Development and Technical Assistance (PDTA) Center hosts a Professional Development Event (PDE) each year. This event brings CYFAR grantees together to learn about the latest research, evaluation strategies, and program ideas and allows grantees to share best practices and lessons learned.

CYFAR PDE 2026 will be held June 2-3 in Bloomington, Minnesota.

Join us at CYFAR 2026! This year's event will offer a multidisciplinary blend of sessions, speakers, and presentations focused on maximizing the success of our CYFAR programs. As a participant, you will have the opportunity to learn from a wide-range of experts who have direct experience and proven success in serving the needs of children, youth, and families. In addition, there will be opportunities for networking and learning from other CYFAR programs, meeting with CYFAR coaches, and speaking with program leadership.

The CYFAR PDTA Center encourages all CYFAR-funded project staff to participate in this opportunity to enhance their professional skills and their CYFAR project. Project staff from all roles, experiences, and professional backgrounds will find this event valuable and relevant to their continued efforts to positively impact the lives of children, youth, and families.

After two days of learning with experts and growing professionally, we aim for you to come away with enhanced knowledge and innovative ideas to support your communities.

The event will be held at the Radisson Blu Mall of America at 2100 Killebrew Dr. Bloomington, MN, 55425.
